hey! don't be shy!

Feel free to follow my new blog here.

Don't worry. I will still post here.
I promise.
My new blog is basically one of those "journal" blogs where you write about what's going on.

HAPPY MONDAY!!!

Minimal Day Monday

Hallelujah! My English research paper is done and turned in!

I did my photography homework today! Not to brag or anything... I took a really cool picture of the bulb sprouts in our front flower beds. Look here if ya want to see it.

Today McKayla and I watched videos of spoken poetry and laughed at all the hilarious (in our minds) "awkward  moment when..." 's on Pinterest.

It's probably the most time I have ever spent on that website.

HAPPY MONDAY!!!
p.s. Sorry the picture is so blurry! I will try to take better pictures next time...

endless rain into a paper cup

I wish I could wake up and cry words on to paper.

drip. drip. drip.

Not all words would be sorrow from boy drama, like most girls seem to write.

They would be tears of discovery and adventure. They would be tears of the places I traveled to in my dreams. They would be tears of joy found in the simplicity of things.

To write in the late hours of the day. To write when everyone is watching. To write as the head has been lifted off the pillow in the middle of a sleepless night. To write in secret.

To bash and burn. To guide and comfort. To bring color to a dull world.

To add a book to the bookshelf in a library. To add a book to the New York Best-sellers list. To ad to the front page of your local newspaper.

drip. drip. drip.

Sot sobs become become poetry. Headache and scream-filled tears become the best novel ever written.

Dead. Dead are the tears of the fearful poet. Tears that could have touched the hearts of many. fear. fear. fear. dead. dead. dead.

The eyes of a writer are greedy. Give me more! they cry. And then the tears. tears. words. flow like a river because somehow the greedy eyes trigger the flow of tears.

They slither wildly as they slip away across the universe.

Pah.

It's amazing to stare at a keyboard and think of all the possibilities that are in front of you. I instantly group the letters together and make up words that don't have any significance when they stand alone. But for some reason, even when I put words together to form sentences, I still can't seem to find what I'm looking for. It's becoming difficult to find the right words that explain what is going on in my mind.

What? I don't know.
Why? I don't know.
How? I don't know.
I honestly don't know.

My words are as good as a bicycle with a flat tire- they can't seem to get me to where I want to go. The dreams of inspiring people with the written word is shattered because of my lack of inspiration. I hit the  backspace more than I do any other key on the keyboard. My hands are ice cold and my feet tingle from sitting on them too long. My eyes are glued to the blank screen. The cursor is the only thing that is moving.
"Will it happen today? I don't know, for I never know beforehand, and deep down it really doesn't matter. It's the possibility that keeps me going, not the guarantee, a sort of wager on my part. And though you may call me a dreamer or a fool or any other thing, I believe that anything is possible."
Maybe one day I will find the words to write a beautiful post- anything is possible.

BOO.
