I think it's okay to be proud of yourself every once in a while.

I woke up this morning bummed to see the snow and the newspaper not on the counter (like it usually is every morning). I went outside to grab the newspaper and had to wipe off the snow that covered the top of the plastic bag. When I started reading in the typical reading schedule that I always do (glance over the front page, read what celeb's birthday it is, what happened this day in history, editorial page, and so forth) I had to stop at the editorial page. I yelled ma mere's name and ran to find her. I showed her the page. I made print. I submitted a letter to the newspaper and they published it!!

After a long, yet beautiful day, I searched my letter on deseretnews.com. I was proud to be archived with articles about Elder Richard G. Scott Jason Wright, and many others. I read the comments. The first comment upset me a little, but I decided "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words shall never hurt me." I will not let their ego get in the way of my pursuit of writing.

Write something.

A Word on Love

Being the romance novel addict that I am, there are things that make a novel a perfect romance for me.

Words of Love:
1. Regain composure. Oh-ho! The very words make my heart jump with excitement! Whenever these words appear, you can tell love is sprouting within the character- it is the beginning of my happiness!

2. Kissed. I have a nasty habit of searching the pages ahead for this word. I kick myself in the leg once I finally read up to that beautiful moment because reading it for the second time doesn't have the full effect that it should've had on me.
Note: There are lots of hints that surround the word kissed. Things like "our faces were close", heart-melting comments, eye contact that isn't uncomfortable, "he drew her closer", etc.

Romance novels are very predictable. That's fine.  The majority of them end happily, a reassurance that you will read a good book. Who doesn't want to read a good book?

Feed the soul with some love.
Romance novels are healthy!

p.s. Please make note to the Pages tab at the top.
p.p.s. I added a new song to my Playlist. It's called Melody by Kate Earl.
p.p.s. The playlist is odd and tricky. Hopefully you'll figure it out. Don't follow the mouse, the highlighted stuff (teehee) is what you want.

Hmm...

Warmth. It comes and it goes, and it tends to be gone longer than it stays. The sun is covered by dark gray clouds. The green grass is covered with a thick layer of white flakes of snow. Instead of feeling the heat running through you, an ice cold chill takes over your whole body.
Dear Warmth and Sunshine,
I have an issue with you. You don't like to stay very long.
Why is that?

Chasing Pavements

"I've made up my mind don't need to think it over
This, I know is love
But if I tell the world I'll never say enough
'cause it was not said to you
And that's exactly what I need to do if I'd end up with you"
-Adele Chasing Pavements
Yeah, I am quite aware that I missed a little part. It's done on purpose.

p.s. I personally like Addy's April 6th post.
